Mook and Pop’s Culinary Delights is a from-scratch bakery offering San Diego homemade baked goods.

Our newest creation is Brickle Candy. Brickle (or fondly called Crack) is a handmade crunchy, salty and sweet candy of crisp caramelized salty crackers drenched in chocolate, toffee, and nuts. Besides the original, we have created many variations of Brickle that we offer to sell. Because of the immense popularity of our Brickle, we are now offering it online. The most popular is the Cheesy Peanut Butter Brickle. It is 10 ounces of melted Callebaut Belgium Milk Chocolate on caramelized Cheez-It Crackers™, topped with Reese’s Peanut Butter Pieces™ and dry roasted almonds! Our original is 10 ounces of melted Belgium Dark Chocolate on caramelized crackers topped with Heath Toffee™ and mixed nuts. The Tropical Macadamia is 10 ounces of melted white chocolate on caramelized saltines and topped with Macadamia Nuts, flaked coconut, dried mango and pineapple.

Since COVID19 has pretty much changed all our lives, many small businesses have gotten creative and moved to an online presence. In talking with Owners Sue and Richard Widney,  Mook and Pops has done just that. Their story is one born out of necessity and turned by love to all things sweet to eat.
