Well I’m off traveling again after almost two years of down time. I headed first to Boston to start my quest on finding four interests of mine; leaf peeping, finding terrific food, staying in historic hotels, and locating old country inns and taverns. Since I am traveling solo this trip, I decided I needed a stout little vehicle and rented a Nissan Kicks for shits and giggles. Never a dull moment, I say, and on to see what I could see.

First night, Boston’s exquisite and historic Newbury Guest House. Located in the Back Bay neighborhood with its tree- lined streets and the hustle and bustle of shops, galleries and outdoor restaurants. Dinner at LaViole. First night pricey, but worth it with salmon, wild mushrooms and spinach in a heavenly sauce.

A terrific nights sleep and I was up early and scooted north to Witch City Salem. About a 30 minute drive took me four hours due to photographing my love of this area.  Staying at the historic Hawthorne Hotel found me a happy witchy soul. You can see how much fun it was from the pics attached.
